This is Abe's 1st camping trip. He loves to be outside! We were noticing that he has a horse shoe hair line...just like his G'pa Short!!
Tough life...poor kid!
He is a swing baby...he loves to take his afternoon nap in it!!
1st bath...he was less than impressed!!
Here is Abe and Grandma Talbot.
Just hanging out!
We weren't sure how Brooke would deal with having Abe home but she loves him to death!
Abe's bili count was high so they let him come home with the bili bed. He has to stay on the lights for a week. He could only come out to eat and then back on the lights.
Olivia loves her baby brother!!
Abraham Carl Talbot born May 15, 2009 at 10:21pm weighing in at 8lbs 8oz and 20in long!!
Here is a picture of our little one. This is at 20 weeks along. I can't wait to start adding a little blue, green, and brown in the house!! We are so excited!
Our dryer broke...BUMMER! The washer still works great so we washed everything and went down to the laundry mat. I can't stand laundry mats...they are so public. No privacy at all. Anyway...at least Brooklyn had fun!
The only way we could get her out was to promise her a treat. Well, she loves Cheetos and I thought, "One little bag won't make too big of a mess." The machine gave her two...go figure! She was so excited!!
OK, so I was picture tagged by Kylene!! Here are the rules, Go to your picture folders, click on the 4th one, then click on the 4th picture and post it! This is a picture of Olivia at the Westmore Elementary school carnival May of 2007!
My brother has finally left the MTC and has safely arrived in Jamaica. He is the back row...5th from the left! In the MTC, he met up with 10 other missionaries called to serve in Jamaica. The mission President's wife sent out pictures as they all arrived in Jamaica and sent them out to the families with an uplifting note saying all is well!
This is just a fun picture of the missionaries being goofy!! It's great to see that they are all having a great time. The mission President's wife says that they are excited to be there and ready to serve!
Finally, after a year and a half...we're pregnant!! I wasn't so convinced the first test was correct so I took another one and they both say the same thing!!! We're definitely PREGNANT!!
Here is an ultrasound picture at the 9 week mark...it's supposed to look like a baby but to us it looks like a duck...so we have nick named this baby "Duckie" for now. Our due date is May 22.
Lately, Brooklyn insists on taking off her shirt...well trying to anyway! You notice her pants are un-buttoned also...those came off next! She cracks me up...she thinks it's funny to walk around like this! She can see through it, I guess!
I was walking past the bathroom and I saw all the "little girls" (Tyauna and Trinaty, I babysit and then Brooklyn) crowded in the bathroom while Brooke was on the potty. I stopped and asked them, quite irritated that once again they were in the bathroom, "What are you girls doing?" They responded "We're saying prayers!" and they were. Each of them had their little arms folded. I had failed to notice because I was so mad that they were all piled in the bathroom...again. So I told them "Sorry, finish your prayer!" I immediatly grabbed the camera and got these precious pictures.
P.S. Brooklyn did go "poop" but if you will notice...her onsie was still on so I still changed the "poopy" diaper!! Go Brooke!! A+ for effort!
Olivia is beautiful, talented, and a loving daughter and big sister. As Brooklyn is constantly growing and changing and doing new things, it is easy for our little "Peanut" Olivia to fall through the cracks. I want to express my love and appreciation for her. She loves her little "Monkey" (Brooklyn) more than I can tell you and today I am thankful for Olivia and the pure example she is to us everyday! Olivia enjoys cooking, playing piano, "jamming out" to the radio while she does her chores and spending time with her family. Here are some pictures of Olivia...enjoy!
Brooklyn went back to school this week. Sad...yet very exciting. We decided to have the bus come and pick her up. The first time she was not too happy about it. She is so small in those big seats and she stuck out her little bottom lip and it was so hard to let her go.
